Carry On

The righteous will flourish like a palm tree, they will grow like a cedar of Lebanon; planted in the house of the Lordthey will flourish in the courts of our God.

They will still bear fruit in old age, they will stay fresh and green, proclaiming, “The Lord is upright; he is my Rock, and there is no wickedness in him.”

Letting Go

Matthew 11:29-30: “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.  For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

God’s Will

How can we know when God wants us to move forward or wait on Him?

James 3:17: But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere.

Morning Prayers

Make morning prayer time an unshakable discipline in your life. Spend time in prayer before the busyness of your day begins.


Psalm 5:3 In the morning, Lord, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait expectantly.

Psalm 88:13 But I cry to you for help, Lord; in the morning my prayer comes before you.

Psalm 90:14 Satisfy us in the morning with your unfailing love, that we may sing for joy and be glad all our days.

Numbering our Days

Psalm 90:12: Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.

What Difference Will This Make in 24 Hours?​

2 Corinthians 4:17: For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.

Reframing​

Do you put people in a negative frame? Maybe it’s a lazy frame or a rebellious frame. Ask God to help you see them as He sees them. It will help you to “re-frame” them.

Philippians 4:8: Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.

How Do I Extend More Grace?

Matthew 7:12: So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.

Are You An Extravagant Person?

Read Mark 14:1-10 this week. It focuses on a woman who poured a very expensive bottle of perfume on Jesus’ head. Many thought she was ‘wasting’ perfume and being extravagant and they rebuked her harshly. But, Jesus told them to leave her alone. “She has done a beautiful thing to me.”

How do you demonstrate your love to Jesus? Do you pour out your time? Do you pour out money for the work of Jesus?
