Do It Right and Do It Now Cards

Oct 9, 2018

We have prepared a card that says simply, Do It Right and Do It Now!, with reference from Colossians 3. You can use this card to remind you to stop procrastinating. I promise you this: Getting rid of procrastination is one of the best gifts you’ll ever give yourself.   For best results print on card-stock paper. There are 6 cards per page and print back to back. Keep one for yourself and share the other cards with friends! Here are some of the reasons we procrastinate; see if you can identify with any of them: We procrastinate because we’re simply lazy. We put things off when we’re facing an unpleasant task or something we don’t enjoy. We procrastinate when the task seems overwhelming—too big. We procrastinate when we feel insecure about how to do it or we’re afraid of failing. We procrastinate because we don’t know how to get started. If you struggle with procrastination, I want to strongly encourage you to make this a matter of serious prayer and determine how you’re going to break the bad habit. First, identify where you tend to procrastinate the most and ask yourself why. God says he’ll give us wisdom if we ask for it, so ask for wisdom from God to show you what’s causing you to put things off so much....

Your New Name

Oct 8, 2018

Sometimes we need a new name. God changed the names of some significant people in the Bible:  Abram and Saul and Jacob and Simon, to name a few.  He changed their names because he was setting them in a new direction, changing more than their names. He was changing their attitudes, their priorities, and their characters.  And you know, God probably wants to change our names sometimes, too. Please download the Your New Name sheet to help you remember God’s promises.  Please print it front to back and cut it along the lines so you can memorize the scripture verses easily....

If It’s Not Light, It’s Not Right!

Sep 23, 2018

If It’s Not Light, It’s Not Right!

Did you know that most people—yes even Christians—are lugging a heavy load of burdens with them all the time: Over their shoulder, on their back, dragging along behind them or trying to carry them. It saps their strength and destroys their joy, and damages their testimony for Christ as they constantly struggle with this these heavy burdens. Picture yourself with that heavy load of burdens and dropping them at the feet of Jesus, and taking instead His burden, which is easy to carry. I encourage you to consciously relinquish your burden to Jesus, and take His in its place. You’ll discover that his yoke is easy and his burden is light. Here’s a good thought to remember: If it’s not light, it’s not right. To help you remember we have created cards that you can print and carry with...
