Mary Lowman, founder of The Christian Working Woman hosted a free workshop on Zoom on Saturday, June 6, 2020. Mary’s guest was Vivette Payne, a good friend, TCWW Board Member, a consultant and writer who specializes in organization, team, and personal development. Her expertise includes leadership coaching, and team building.

Sometimes we anticipate a layoff and have time to prepare for it. For others, it is a blessing in disguise that forces you to make a change you have wanted to make. But too often, we are totally blindsided by the layoff and unprepared for it. Feelings of uncertainty and even panic are common. However, it is during these challenging times that you need to respond strategically, with confidence and focus. Whether you are dealing with a layoff or making a career transition, there are several things you can do to navigate both situations with great success.
