Most Christians agree on the importance of memorizing Scripture, but few actually practice this discipline. We may not know how to get started or maybe we don’t think we have the time to begin. Yet, little else brings the kind of transformation we long for than hiding God’s Word in our hearts.
In this month’s Zoom Get-Together, we’ll learn all about this and gain some practical tools to help us start memorizing God’s Word today. Join us Saturday, June 8 as Glenna Marshall, author of Memorizing Scripture, passes along valuable insight on this age-old spiritual discipline.

Glenna Marshall is a pastor’s wife and mother of two sons. She grew up in Tennessee but lives in southern Missouri where her husband has pastored their church for nearly twenty years. Glenna studied creative writing at Union University, graduating with a B.A. in English in 2003. She is the author of three books and travels extensively to speak at women’s retreats and conferences.
Besides writing and speaking, Glenna fills her time with reading fiction, weight training, enjoying family walks and game nights, serving in her local church, leading a small women’s Bible study in her home, cooking, and playing the piano. She loves strong coffee (with just a touch of cream!), one-on-one conversations, and going to bed early.
