In Romans 12:2, Paul warns us, Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. But what happens when we don’t even realize we’re being conformed to the pattern of this world?
Cindy Geier didn’t realize something was wrong until she was deep into New Ageism. At first it all seemed so attractive—helpful practices that could make her a better person—but after a wake-up call from Jesus, she began to see the truth. At this Zoom Get-Together, we’ll hear Cindy’s story and learn how to recognize signs of New Ageism when we encounter it too.
This event is thoughtfully designed for women, providing a supportive and nurturing environment for spiritual growth. While the live sessions are reserved for women participants, recordings will be available on this page for anyone who wishes to benefit from the teachings and fellowship.

Cindy Geier worked over 30 years in leadership development training, consulting, and facilitation. Although she was raised in a loving Christian home, she became fascinated by alternative spiritual practices. It wasn’t until she experienced a wake-up call from Jesus that she saw the truth about her life and New Ageism. Today, she serves regularly at her church, The Moody Church, and is a fellow with the Colson Fellowship Program. She is a mom to two adult sons and lives in Lincoln Park with her husband, Jeff, and their golden retriever, Sampson.
