This year’s 28th Annual Weekend Getaway ~ Courageous Faith ~ is going to be fabulous! We are excited to have Damaris Carbaugh join us as the main speaker.
As Christ-followers, we realize we are now in a post-Christian era, where living out your faith and standing true to biblical principles is more and more demanding and less and less understood. But we are privileged to live at “such a time as this,” like Queen Esther in the Bible, and we have the opportunity to courageously show our worlds the transformational power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
What does that look like on your job, in your family, with your friends? The speakers at this year’s Weekend Getaway will address these real-life challenges of having courageous faith while we swim upstream against today’s culture.
Damaris Carbaugh is well known for her ability to minister through music, but she is equally gifted to speak truth into our lives. With zeal and passion, she will both challenge and equip you in how to increase your faith and have the courage you need to live each day for Jesus.
Arloa Sutter is well-qualified to talk about racial reconciliation. With this issue in the headlines these days, we Christians should lead the way to finding paths that lead to understanding and appreciation of those who are different from us. The Gospel of Jesus Christ can change hearts—and that’s where reconciliation begins.
Chrissy Toledo’s story of how God rescued her from the depths of despair and self-destruction will show how the courageous faith of her parents, Carol and Jim Cymbala, and many others was used by God to set her free.
All of this plus great music, refreshing fellowship and tons of laughter make for a weekend you don’t want to miss. It’s a time of spiritual renewal, so please join us for our 28th Annual Weekend Getaway where your faith will be strengthened and your courage fortified.
Our website for this event will be up shortly. Registration will be available at the end of October.
