The Parables of Jesus:
- The Parable of the Good Samaritan
- The Parable of Being Thankful
- The Parable of the Seeds and the Sower
- The Parables of the Weeds, the Mustard Seed and the Yeast
- The Parable of the Prodigal Son
Mark 4:33-34: With many similar parables Jesus spoke the word to them, as much as they could understand. He did not say anything to them without using a parable. But when he was alone with his own disciples, he explained everything.
Jesus’ parables are earthly stories with heavenly meanings. He used illustrations that were well understood by the people of his day to communicate eternal truth. In this study we will look at these parables as they were understood when Jesus told them, and discover the hidden truths that are totally relevant to our lives today.
